About Eagles Nest Airport

Your Community Airport

Welcome to Eagles Nest (31E), your West Creek, NJ community airport serving southern Ocean County and Long Beach Island with easy access to Atlantic City and the surrounding communities.

Eagles Nest is a public access airport owned and operated by its pilot community. In cooperation with the State of NJ Department of Transportation, and the Eagleswood Township, the ownership is committed to maintaining a first class full service airport. Group events, civic meetings including events with the local schools and clubs are encouraged.

Over the last ten years, hangars have been built, runway and taxiway lights, a beacon and PAPI’s have been installed, In addition, a 3600 foot taxiway and run up pad has been constructed.  The runway was milled and fully resurfaced in November 2022.

Competitively priced 100LL self serve fuel along with bathrooms and a full service FBO are also available. Aircraft maintenance services, a tandem parachute operation and banner towing are all active parts of our airport community.

New in 2023 will be 10 additional hangars.  Land has also been cleared and approvals received for  second building of ten additional hangars and a second fuel tank.

Fly in for lunch, or a day at the country club, shooting range, driving range or amusement park. Calloway’s Restaurant, amusement park and driving range located three miles from the airport will provide pick up and drop off service to the field. Sea Oaks Country Club is open to the public and within 5 miles of the airport.  Shooters Sporting Center is also located within 4 miles of the airport  Uber, taxi service and Enterprise rental cars, located in Manahawkin are available.  Enterprise will also provide free transportation to their store and car drop off/pick up services.

Eagles Nest Airport is supported by our local, county and state elected representatives. However their support is highly dependent upon each pilot respecting our neighbors, and avoiding flying low and slow over the residential areas adjacent to the airport. Pilots are responsible for flying the published patterns including runway 14 departure procedures. Noise abatement, and respect for our neighbors will enhance the quality of our airport and the cooperation essential for continued development.  Night Landings are only permitted on runway 14.  Night Departures are only permitted on runway 32.  Without the cooperation of the State Department of Transportation, the community leadership and the pilot community, the Eagles Nest dream would not have come true.

Your suggestions, criticisms, and help are encouraged. In fact without the volunteer services of the airport pilot community, the field would not be inexistence today. Always remember to thank our volunteers.
